Of all the blessings that enabled Joe to succeed and thrive as an attorney, surely the education he received as a young child ranks near the top. As a lawyer, the ability to read and write is crucial, and Joe's team wishes that all children could receive the same education he did. This is why we're thrilled to promote the Read to ME challenge, a month-long public awareness campaign to promote childhood literacy in Maine held annually during February. This year the Maine Department of Education will Celebrate the Read to ME Challenge with a series of recorded videos by students and adults.
The Read to ME Challenge is an opportunity to contribute to a child’s literacy growth by reading aloud to one or more children for at least 15 minutes.
