The Friends Of Fort Gorges have been working hard to renovate and restore the beautiful Civil War era fort in Casco Bay and are hosting a fundraiser tomorrow to raise funds! The Fort Shorts Fundraiser will gather six of Maine's finest authors to discuss their writing experiences in and around our great state at a Room With A View in Portland. Two lucky raffle winners will join the authors for a cruise to Fort Gorges and all proceeds benefit the nonprofit and their wonderful efforts to maintain this beautiful part of Maine's history.
