Lately Portland has seen a variety of local organizations related to the arts being promoted on the Time & Temp- and here's one more. Joe wants to spread the word about the 90th anniversary of the Portland Symphony Orchestra. Comprised of 82 professional musicians, 40% of them residing in Maine, the PSO is widely regarded as one of the top symphony orchestras of its size in the country. Serving the city of Portland, the state of Maine, and northern New England, the PSO is the largest performing arts organization in our state, and it's celebrating a milestone anniversary. On Saturday, May 2nd, the PSO will be hosting its 90th Anniversary Gala Concert at the Merrill Auditorium.
