joe says "mile stne"

One of the many organizations that Joe is so proud to have doing important work in his hometown is the Milestone Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide the best quality services to empower individuals with substance use and behavioral health disorders to attain stability, dignity, recovery, and an enhanced quality of life. Since its inception in 1967, Milestone has helped countless Mainers overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles and go on to accomplish great things.

This Saturday, September 9th, is 50 Miles for Milestone, the annual fundraising motorcycle ride to commemorate Milestone’s 50 years of helping Mainers on the road to recovery. Proceeds will benefit Milestone’s addiction and homeless services.

Joe encourages all local motorcyclists to consider partaking in this event to support an invaluable local organization, and urges everyone to learn more about Milestone here.
