Joe loves to see Portlanders unite for a common cause, which is why each year he spreads the word about the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's. The Association's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. When you participate in Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel the mission-related initiatives of care, support and research. In addition, your actions, both through fundraising and participating in the event, help to change the level of Alzheimer's awareness in your community. The 2015 Greater Portland Walk to End Alzheimer's will be held on September 26, 2015 at Payson Park. For more information about this event, including how to register, go here.
