Portlanders, do you hear what Joe hears? From August 10th to the 19th, we'll all be hearing the beautiful melodies of the Portland Chamber Music Festival. Founded in 1994, this is a top chamber music event in New England featuring acclaimed performers from the United States and abroad. Festival concerts are broadcast regionally and nationally on Maine Public Radio, WGBH Radio in Boston, and American Public Media’s “Performance Today.” This wonderful nonprofit organization enhances the cultural life of Southern Maine by bringing nationally recognized artists of the highest caliber to Portland to present a wide range of classical and contemporary chamber music, including education and engagement programs for community members of all ages.
