Joe is sure that anyone within striking distance of Portland will want to come check this out: Portland Ovations, a non-profit performing arts organization in Maine connecting artists and audiences through diverse arts experiences, takes to the air to kick off its’ 87th season by presenting the pioneering vertical dance company, BANDALOOP for two free, public performances September 28th and 29th. Bandaloop’s company of dancers will perform, suspended in midair, using the sides of the Westin Portland Harborview Hotel and One City Center as their stage/s.
The Westin Portland Harborview performance is scheduled for 12pm on Thursday September 28 and the One City Center performance is scheduled for 5pm on Friday, September 29. Joe still can't believe there are people out there brave enough to dance on the sides of buildings, but he's grateful that they decided to come to Portland!
