Portlanders are aware by now that Joe is a fan of local theater. He's promoted Portland Stage, Portland Players, and now Bare Portland's production of Macbeth. Bare Portland is a performance collaborative focused on community building through site-specific creative projects. This organization creates high-caliber theatrical productions open to all members of the Portland community to foster empathy and inclusiveness. Emboldened by the idea that stories can be told anywhere, Bare Portland hosts performances outside of the traditional stage setting and brings programming to notable public spaces of Portland. Bare Portland collaborates with a broad section of local creatives, as well as organizations outside the creative sector.
