Joe always loves learning about smaller communities within the larger Portland community. Here's another one to add to the list: the Equality Community Center, which provides services to and advocating equality for Portland and Maine’s LGBTQIA community. ECC has created a work place for organizations already providing services to this community and has gathered them all under one roof to work toward a shared cause.
Tomorrow, October 6th, is First Friday Art Walk. Be sure to swing by ECC at 511 Congress Street and help them celebrate their one-year anniversary. Joe hopes you consider attending this celebration and offers his thanks to the ECC for the great work they do in our community.
